I first went to a Tim Walker exhibition at the Design Museum, London in 2008, and was completely blown away by the brilliance of his work. His photographs are just so fantastic, and more images can be seen here.... http://www.timwalkerphotography.com/index.php
Belgian artist Stephane Halleux creates these amazing sculptures using leather, metal, wood, pulp and recycled materials. More images can be found here http://stephanehalleux.com/
'Dear Photograph' is a really clever concept where anyone can take a picture from the past in the present. All photos can then be submitted to the blog and hopefully uploaded.http://dearphotograph.com/
Sorry for the quiet week..I have been in Cornwall with no internet access...I have a fantastic artist for you today though, Hepzibah Swinford, a self-taught painter born in 1956. She grew up in London, St Ives and rural Scotland, surrounded by beautiful rose gardens, oriental art, and works by her artist mother, Dora Holzhandler. Hepzibah's stunning flower paintings can be seen below. http://www.r-h-g.co.uk/artists/view/orange_flowers/18,72,5402.html
Printmaker Angie Lewin is just fantastic. She produces limited edition lino cuts, wood engravings, lithographs and screenprints. As you can see by the amount of images I have put up, I am a little bit obsessed with her work! http://www.angielewin.co.uk/gallery.htm
