Christmas time has meant that I haven't posted anything in ages-sorry. One of my favourite presents this year has been some fantastic art by Natasha Chambers. Her Bywa print series includes some fantastic images of Cornwall, funnily enough, the exact area where I will be spending New Year....http://www.natashachambers.co.uk/?c=3871

Hannah Turner Ceramics
I have admired Hannah Turner's ceramic birds for ages, and the collection keeps growing and getting better and better.http://www.hannahturner.co.uk/index.asp

A La Maternelle
I discovered this book on a book stall in Paris. I absolutely love it! It was originally printed in China in 1978, and the illustrations are by Yin Kia-lang, Wou King-lou, Tchen Ki-yun, Tcheng Lei and Hsiu Tcheng-hong. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little information about these illustrators available online.

Christmas Baubles
I went to Bath Christmas Market last weekend, and they had the most beautiful hand painted baubles on sale. They are mostly painted in Kashmir, India, and a selection can be found on Bollywood Christmas, http://www.bollywoodchristmas.co.uk/painted-decorations/painted-balls-and-hearts.html and Nkuku http://www.nkuku.com/product/decoration/lolita-handpainted-paper-mache-bauble

Around the World with Mouk
'Around the World with Mouk' is a fantastic book by French artist, Marc Boutavant. Not having children, I felt I couldn't really justify buying yet another children's book; however, I have finally succumbed and it is worth every penny! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Around-World-Mouk-Sticker-Book/dp/1854378546/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323420886&sr=8-1
